Canowindra Arts Group is a community based not-for-profit organisation dedicated to developing the arts in the Canowindra village and surrounding region.
We are open to all artists regardless of genres or level of developments. We particularly encourage the involvement of young people and provide entry level and skill development workshops.
Promotion of local artists is a core activity and will involve the staging of exhibitions locally and regionally. The development component of our charter we will provide fully equipped workshop facilities to increase participation and ensure easy cost effective classes.
The Canowindra Arts Group does not influence artists in any way, they are independent and only interact with the CAG when involved in exhibitions, in-house workshops or individual promotions through CAG.
Being not-for-profit any charges or commissions will be kept to a minimum however we do not wish to create any imbalance with commercial galleries in the area.
Membership is available at a very low annual fee of $2.00 (plus once off $1 sign up) and applications can be accessed Here for Artists and Here for Supporters. Artists must be members to participate in exhibitions and other events.`By signing up we will be able to provide regular news and updates plus you will be helping us acheive our goals.
